BSA Troop 25 Scouts

Troop History

In 1977, Troop 25 was officially formed with only a few members. The troop had a rough start and nearly disbanded. However, in 1984, the Men’s Club of Custer Road United Methodist Church (CRUMC) became the new charter organization and the troop has flourished ever since. Troop 25 is a boy lead group that benefits from strong adult guidance.

Throughout the years, Troop 25 has received numerous awards and much recognition at the district and council levels for the service that is conducted by the troop membership. Service projects have included those for many of the area elementary schools, museums, churches and senior living facilities. We have conducted food drives, volunteered at food pantries and assisted at a number of children’s and Cub Scout event
